Master of the Sun

This is a poem inspired by Tavidee Hoskins/Orfeo Fame's poem "Master of My Universe"
Someone put the Sun between my ears.
I found myself immediately illuminated,
No longer inconspicuous.
Inspired to be something greater than just... I.
But why?
The light within me now carries a new energy.
A flame, now burns within my soul.
Its light now spilling beyond myself, igniting paths untold.
As I journey through the solar system,
My radiance giving whole planets life.
Walking among the stars,
Dancing through realms unknown
Facing unprecedented turbulence
In a galaxy long rife with strife.
My solar rays begin to dissipate.
Will my heat cool then fail to emanate?
No, no. Oblivion is not my fate.
I ruminate, then illuminate and accentuate.
When God called my name, I then radiated.
No longer in an orbit, I dance beyond the pull,
Unbound and purposeful.
My gravity holds only what aligns with my flame,
I shine where purpose meets power—not acclaim.
No longer constrained by orbit or design,
Imperfect in motion, yet always refine.
Maybe I can't master the entire universe,
But I can master the sun, the moon and the Earth.
