Nobody goes to Topgolf for the food, but fwiw it wasn't bad. I got the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich w/tots ($12.25), bae got the Patty Melt w/fries and slaw on the side ($14). What I liked most was of course it was inexpensive but, but also my sammich was a big ass filet on a big ass bun! So I got nice and full. I love that they include pickles as well. We didn't taste each other's food like we usually do, but the patty melt looked decent. It was on a toasted sliced bread, nice and buttered. But me, I liked the slaw on mine. Bae doesn't like slaw at all but it def would've given it a good flavor kick in addition to the cheese. Now our friend got lemon pepper wings... They could definitely do better on the wings. They were jumbo wings, but they were not seasoned AT ALL. Dry as hell. Barely any lemon pepper taste. I had to dip them in ranch. I wish I had gotten pics of the wings.
But overall, the food was better than I thought it'd be considering that it's an entertainment venue and not a place known for food. I was thinking that places like these you are either gonna get good food or good entertainment, but never both. As far as the vibe, we liked the bar. There is plenty of space to go and get a beer or cocktail. When you walk into the lobby, the bar is directly to the left and it's large and round. There were multiple bartenders to make sure that everyone is served in aa timely manner. We didn't drink much... bae is a lightweight haha so he had his usual cider, Angry Orchard, and I got a Blue Moon with an orange. It's a chill vibe with plenty of tvs if you just want to go for the bar or do sports. The service is spectacular. They have a bay for each group and they come out and serve you as you play. It's definitely worth it, just don't get the wings! Gonna have to try a place like Dave & Buster's next time to compare another eat and play venue.
